5 Mile Time Trial 27 April 2021

What a fantastic 5-Mile series!

We started with flurries of snow but the conditions since have been excellent and our riders didn’t miss out. Our final 5-Mile evening saw more 10s than a Strictly Come Dancing final.

Tracey was back within a second of her club record and Matt Smith smashed it out of the park with a blistering 9:58 and another course record.

The fastest BECC rider was Ed Jarman with an excellent 10:38, he’s been faster on every outing this year.

Kudos to the Hunt RT guys who went sub-11 on road bikes.

Special mention goes to Louis, one of our most dedicated time triallers, who has knocked off a solid 90 seconds since he rode in our last season in 2019.
