British Cycling Membership
Brighton Excelsior & VC Jubilee is a British Cycling club which provides the club support and insurance for its activities. This however does not automatically extend to riders.
We encourage members who want to race or be insured personally for their activities to join British Cycling. Your first year membership is free if you join the club and there are different levels of membership depending on what you want to take part in.
Each membership type is slightly different. Anyone wanting to race in any British Cycling event should take out a Race Membership, which makes it easy to obtain a day or yearly racing licence.
You don’t need a British Cycling membership to ride with the club, but over half of our members do have a membership for a variety of reasons. Some for the racing and others for the insurance & legal support.
