BRIGHTON EXCELSIOR CYCLING CLUB
12-HOUR MARATHON - 26 JANUARY 2002
Although the pictures make the cyclists look like they are not pedalling very hard, you can be assured that there was some sweat coming off. During the day we had riders aged between 7 and 77. Thanks must go to the AOAC for letting us use the centre all day, and thanks to all those that supported and took part in the event, especially Su Balcombe for organising such an excellent day. It is tipped to be our best and largest ever fund raising event, we are sure that the money raised will go towards ensuring BECC continue to support and promote cyclesport for all, also a 1/3 will go to the AOAC Climbing Wall Development Appeal.
